woahh...looks like everything has been "fast-forwarded". Seems like only yesterday we were having pillow fights, movie marathons, cold jokes on the bus, playing with paper bullets, running around the blocks, k-boxing, going for & skipping lectures, birthday surprises, having fun in lab & at sentosa, cycling in the rain, cracking jokes, laughing about anything and almost everything. And now, it seems like we're about to "grow-up" even more.
Some went to uni, some army, some overseas, some slacking & holiday-ing, and some are gonna work ;and i'm part of that some. Lost time can never be returned, but memories will always stay with you. Maybe i'm just reflecting on how much i've been through this past 9 years? (cos maybe, that's when most of the drama happened) Secondary school, Poly, and then...now.
Along the way, there may be regrets, and i'm sure victories as well. But this year, i'm just gonna give my best in what i believe in, no matter what. i'm gonna LIVE the good life.

just a few random thoughts swimming in my head for quite awhile now..relationships are easy to form, but really not easy to keep..like sometime this year, we were close but not anymore. things like that happen all the time, people come people go. no one is to be blamed, things change all the time i guess.
But, there are also new friendships with people. people that i got to know so much better, people i've drawn closer to and that is something i really treasure (: Friends that grow up & older with you, they let you know it's more than worth it ((:

*and i seriously dont agree with the statement "you have to try it, to know it."
some things dont have to be "tried", you already know the consequence.

The truth is, I felt really lost the whole of today. It was like the feeling we had when we were in year one. Having to learn what a staff nurse does, from scratch (as in the paper work and all). Although it was just one patient, but to know that the holistic care for one patient requires more than just what I've been doing so far..So I'm just taking it as it comes, and learning as much as possible, at where I'm placed.

I'm gonna be invisible for awhile, and only do what really matters, and sometimes, it may look as though i'm not me.

...right after we met kels to hang out at nuo's house...ate AGAIN and watched hancock...

and and after all the food, we HAD TO EXERCISE...so it was DDR TIME!! well, that was our initial plan, and why we wanted to go nuo's house in the first place..hahaha..it was really fun, even kels couldnt sit still and decided to shows us a few of her moves..hee hee hee..and miao managed to complete her beethoven song during the 7th try!! Good job miao!! HAHAHA..well, vic was also not bad with all that super duper fast shuffling of her feet (looks like the physio and gym is doing her good)..and not forgetting nuo, the pro-est of all..she didnt move much, but still managed to pass..hahaha

Watched this video on cancer patients called "life before death" today. The way that the patients lived their lives really encouraged me. Knowing that they dont have much time left, they made use of their time wisely and spent each day with their families to the fullest. They treasured their lives and thanked God for each day.
I guess, as a vulnerable human being we should live our lives the way they do / did..as though each day is going to be the last or tmr may never come.. cos the fact is, we dont know when we'll leave this world. Not in a bad sense, but to really treasure this life that God has given us and thank Him for every single day, every single breath we take.

Through my holidays, i've learnt one important thing..which is to really live life for God, and not be a "person-pleaser" , however you put it..it just never enough for people no matter how hard you try sometimes. But with God, it's just different..He looks at your heart.

Felt kinda lousy after drums evaluation that day, not because of what the judges commented on..but because i feel that i havent given my best. But then God said, "It was great.".. still didnt feel good though.. and then He asked "Am I good enough for you?" At that moment, i really didnt know how to answer. But i really wanna learn to do things only to glorify him and nothing else. And when it pleases Him, i feel good about it and satisfied.

Now that i'm learning how to worship/serve him with the drums, though not very good at it and still learning.. i have to keep asking myself why did i take it up in the first place.. And i know the answer, which is to bring people into a time of worship - where there's only God. And being very good at the drums is so that it'll be possible and not to distract them. And it goes the same for every instrument.

Learning to glorify Him with all that i do. It has to be a lifestyle.

Attachment at IMH's over for me, and my perspective of it really changed quite abit..hahaha
I used to think that only "mad" people are there. However, being inside i experienced stuff that i would never have thought of IMH from the outside.
Losing one's mind could be worse than losing parts of one's body. It wasnt easy guarding my mind at times.

I cried twice today.
1st, was when i went to the dentist..was given anesthetic got injected 4 times, in the front part of the gum (i teared, the pain shot right at my tear duct)..and then drilled 6 holes, and i still felt the pain..what on earth..it was PAINFUL i tell you.
2nd, went to pluck my eyebrows for the very first time..i think miao really wants to see me with tame brows, she even willingly paid for me (thanks miao!!) hahhaha.. and so, i teared AGAIN..cos my eyes were sensitive..when the lady was threading, it was a quick and smooth..so it wasnt that bad.
